The Earthworks Farm is a working and educational farm facilitating programs in organic farming for youth residing in the San Gabriel Valley, and is hosting community workshops to residents of the neighboring communities.

The Farm is located in the beautiful Whittier Narrows Recreation Area, off Lerma Road and provides the following opportunities, programs, classes and workshops:

Healthy Harvesters program
Farm-to-school program
Community workshops
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program
Volunteer opportunities
Produce Stand and Farmer’s Market
Apprenticeships for hands-on farming

Earthworks Farm Community GardenThe San Gabriel Valley Conservation Corps enrolls youth into the Healthy Harvesters program for organic farming working alongside farmers. During a six-week-program youth learns valuable skills such as planting crops, cultivating land and harvesting vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers. The harvest is either sold at nominal cost to low-income families visiting the farm, or is donated to food banks, churches and shelters within the area of South El Monte.

We welcome you to stop by and participate in our programs.
