Become a Supervisor


San Gabriel Valley Conservation Corps is looking for Supervisors to manage crews of up to 14 young people. Supervisors must have their high-school diploma.

Supervisors work one-on-one with trainees and serve as mentors in the field, assisting in the development of job skills and the completion of a variety of contracted work projects.

Supervisors are expected to direct and coordinate their crew, ensure safe work practices, and support their crew members’ educational goals. Experience in environmental work, construction, minor home repair, painting, driving, and/or working with youth are preferred but not required.

Qualifications & Preconditions Include

High School Diploma Criminal Background Screening
Clean Driving Record Drug/Alcohol Screening
Los Angeles County Resident Proof of Eligibility to Work
Class "B" License Preferred Pool Notice/DMV Record (H-6)
Driving Experience Preferred Must be Insurable by SGVCC Insurance
